Búzios is a perfect place to get started on this new and exciting sport. Come visit us at Rasa Beach, where you will find shallow and warm water, with lots of space to learn kitesurfing in a safe environment.
Children over 10 years old and anyone that knows how to swim and have the desire to learn this new method of sailing are welcome to join our courses.
The lessons are given in English and with the help of radios (walkie-talkies) for a fast and safe learning.
Individual lessons (R$120,00 / h)
For students that already have some experience with kitesurfing and would like to develop their techniques. It can also be done by beginners that are wanting to have private lessons.
Kite Session (3 hours /R$300,00 )
3 hours of lessons non stop with the instructor Eduardo Graf. For students on a tight schedule, that would like to have a long session with the instructor without being disturbed by other students. Nice course to do on a day with good conditions (winds from 12 to 18 knots), you will have all the wind for yourself…
Basic course (10 hours / R$1.000,00)
This course was designed for those that already know that they want to practice the sport and want to do a complete course with detailed informations and many hours of practice with the help of an instructor in many different wind conditions.
With two hours of theory and eight hours of practice exercises, the complete course can be done in a period of 3 to 6 days, more or less, depending on the weather conditions and the student availability.
At the end of this course the student will be sailing and already knowing how to control speed, with some students already knowing how to sail upwind in both directions.
Intensive course ( 6 hours / R$600,00)
Designed for those who want to learn in a short period of time, it can be done in one or two days.The student will learn to sail and control speed, and have the option to continue learning on his own or eep on practicing with the instructor (individual lessons).
Obs.: Payment should be arranged in advance for all courses.

- Normally a student without any previous experience will take from 4 to 10 hours of lessons to learn how to kitesurf safely.
- Each student has different experiences and depending on which sports he or she practiced before, they will have a faster or slower learning process.
- · Each student is free to do as many hours as he thinks is necessary for him, and payment is done daily, depending on how many hours they spent.

The student will do a
series
of exercises on land with a small training kite, until he has complete
control of the kite and is able to fly a big traction kite. (out
in the ocean). After the students is able to create power with the
kite, relaunch it and get dragged by it without loosing control,
he is able to start the exercises with the board (water start). - · After learning his first ride, the student will have to learn how to control speed, deal with waves and strong winds and how to go upwind (advanced lessons).
- · All the equipment is provided by the school and the student has to bring sunglasses, sun block, beach wear and a wet suit (if necessary).
- · Children or minors have to have permission from an adult to take the classes.
- · The only pre-requisite is to know how to swim and to feel confortable out in the ocean.· People of all ages (in good physical conditions) and children over 10 years can take the course.

We do not rent kites for unexperienced kitesurfers without the supervision of our Instructor.
